The most remarkable professor of Theology put down the tools as lecturer and head of the Theology department at Buguma SDA University, Uganda.

The name of the teacher who resigned is R. T. Mugerwa, the best theologian in East Africa. He is good at Greek, Hebrew and Systematic Theology. He is a Ugandan. He resigned because he felt the rate at which his Theology-major students were being terminated was not fair. He said those were not sound reasons for their dismissal. The unfair treatment of students who have doctrinal differences was becoming great. He said if they say my students are fools that means their instructor is more of a fool than the students. ...

The reasons for him resigning are:

1. He believes Saturday is the Sabbath but it does not count to post-cross Christians.
2. He does not believe the inspiration of EGW.
3. He believes the Law (torah) was a shadow of the cross.
4. He looks at Daniel 8 14 in the light of the cross.
5. He does not believe in the Investigative Judgment the way SDAs present it in their doctrines.
